WHAT ABOUT YOUR RESOLUTIONS
It’s time for accountability. Have you been successful in reaching your New Year’s resolutions? Let’s revisit your list again. If you are like most people, losing weight and getting in shape were on your list. This is especially true if you pigged out for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Let’s not forget about the pandemic. COVID-19 has been called COVID-15 for the 15 plus pounds that a lot of us have gained. Some of us are still gaining. It’s not too late to turn things around. Springtime is almost here. Hiding under several layers of clothing is no longer an option. You can’t wear Spanx with your swimsuit. You would look pretty but not comfortable. Dust off those tennis shoes and start walking. Put that extra piece of cake down. Hit the gym. What about your financial goals? Have you met them? There has been an upbeat in online shopping during the pandemic. Are you still recovering from Christmas shopping? Revisit your budget. If you are like me, Amazon.com has become a favorite. I should have stock in the company. I spend so much money with them. Have you taken up a hobby or started a new course? These are things to get your mind off your failed relationship and focus on you. There are so many courses that can be taken online. Try learning a new language. I took a French course online. It was very inexpensive. Who knows. It may come in handy one day. I attended an AARP online walking class. They have a variety of online courses and events. They even have information on jobs. Maybe it’s time for you to start a new career. It is never too late. I became a divorce coach at the tender age of 57. I love helping others get through the heartache and pain to find happiness. Life goes on and you will find love again. Write your goals down and put them on your refrigerator. It helps to see them every day. Look at yourself in the mirror and realize how pretty you still are. Now get going on your journey to success!
